The aim of seismic analysis is to identify the structure and properties of the rock mass in the Rudna mine in the aspect of the occurrence of weak zones related to gasodynamic phenomena.
The project involved the calculation and development of maps of isolines of seismic parameter changes. The obtained results were used to formulate conclusions regarding the monitoring of the rock mass structure in the fields prepared for exploitation of the copper ore deposit at great depths.
The research is conducted by the Mineral and Energy Economy Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
