The objective of the project was to carry out research tasks aimed at the development of a technology, recognized as innovative on a global scale, for the utilization of incinerated sewage sludge. The products created as a result of the developed technology can be used as components of ecological fertilizers (i.e. in agriculture) or components of building materials. The first stage involved small-scale laboratory studies, which provided a basis for large-scale studies, while the latter allowed designing and selecting devices for micro technical products. The technical (BAT, BATNEEC), economic (NPV), environmental (LCA), and work safety conditions of the entire process were assessed. The project was implemented with significant participation of employees of the MEERI PAS.
