We are pleased to announce that our project entitled “Systemic Foundations for the Transformation Towards a Circular Economy in Poland” has received funding under the National Centre for Research and Development’s GOSPOSTRATEG program.
The aim of the project is to develop systemic foundations for updating Poland’s transformation strategy towards a circular economy (CE), tailored to current environmental, economic, and regulatory challenges.
The granted funding confirms the importance of the project for the strategic transformation of the Polish economy towards a model based on circular economy principles. Its outcomes will be of particular significance for enterprises and organizations operating in a dynamically changing regulatory and market environment.
The updated Circular Economy Roadmap will provide clear directions for development, enable better preparation for upcoming legal requirements, and identify opportunities to build competitive advantages based on efficient resource management, innovation, and new business models.
The total funding amounts to PLN 4.4 million.
The project is led by the Cracow University of Economics, with partners including the Mineral and Energy Economy Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Institute for Innovation and Responsible Development, and the Ministry of Development and Technology.
