Mine of Young Scientists (KMN) is a nationwide project whose aim is to implement a mentoring and training program for secondary school students, which will popularize scientific achievements and the work of scientists and encourage young people to choose a scientific career path.
The project is implemented thanks to funding from the state budget, granted by the Minister of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW) under the “Social Responsibility of Science II – Popularization of Science” Program. The project is coordinated by the Mineral and Energy Economy Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and the mentoring and training program is co-organized by the Polish Young Academy of the Polish Academy of Sciences [https://amu.pan.pl/].
