The aim of the project is to develop a system of indicators for assessing the progress of the country’s social-economic development towards a circular economy and the impact of the circular economy on social-economic development at the mezzo-economic (regions) and macro-economic (national economy) levels.
The system of indicators includes assessment parameters for waste management, use of recycled materials, competitiveness and innovation of enterprises as well as production and consumption indicators.
Currently, the project is in its implementation stage. Thanks to the co-financing of the National Center for Research and Development, as part of the Strategic Program of Scientific Research and Development “Social and economic development of Poland in the conditions of globalizing markets” GOSPOSTRATEG, two publications have been elaborated:
