The Division of Minerals and Energy Sustainable Development
MEERI PAS and myIT sp. z o. o. have implemented the project “Risk
management model in the energy sector”, funded by the European Union. The
support as part of the Intelligent Development Operational Program was provided by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.
The aim of the project is the preparation of the concept of the risk
management tool. The main task of this tool is to support
decision-making process in energy sector in the age of information
overload. The model will be an expert management system using artificial
intelligence, based on integrated software and supporting
decision-making in critical situations, at short notice. The tool with
expert software will ensure effective information processing and support of
the organization management process.
The project tasks: risk analysis in an energy company, developing a risk
assessment methodology, designing a risk management model, a base
concept and an application concept for the risk management in an energy company.
The Division of Minerals and Energy Sustainable Development MEERI PAN
provides knowledge and many years of experience in energy sector. myIT company provides its experience in the construction and
implementation of risk management systems.
The results of the project will be attractive for medium/small
electricity or heat companies.
The total project value amounts to 73,828.29 PLN, including the EU
support 51,019.55 PLN.
