For many years, the School Underground Mining has been recognized as the largest meeting of the engineering and scientific communities specializing in the field of underground mining industry. For more than 25 years, the conference gathers more than 300 participants, associated with the mining industry in Poland and worldwide, annually, allowing them to focus on the actual problems of the industry. The conference discusses issues related to new techniques and technologies used in mining, economic and financial aspects of the industry, negative aspects of mining exploitation, monitoring, control, and visualization of processes taking place in longwall faces, transport and haulage of the output, mining geomatics, work safety and natural hazards in mines, techniques and technologies for drilling mine shafts, restructuring mining plants and many more.
