The conference “Geothermal Energy as a chance to improve the air quality in Małopolska” was focused on, among others, strategies aimed at improving the air quality in the Małopolska province. The possibilities of funding the development of renewable energy resources from the Regional Operational Programme of the Malopolska Province, the geothermal potential of the Malopolska Voivodship, and the specifics of individual sub region were also discussed. This should lead to the development of new solutions and their correct positioning in the market. The conference was organised by the Marshal’s Office of the Małopolska Voivodship in cooperation with the MEERI PAS.
