The Conference is held since 1997. Every year it is attended by about 70 participants from many scientific units and industrial enterprises. The aim of the conference is to present current research results and exchange scientific and practical information in the field of identifying and reducing environmental hazards in mining and post-mining areas and natural hazards accompanying the exploitation of mineral resources. The conference focused on the issues related to the revitalization of post-mining areas, formal, legal, organisational, economic, and financial aspects of mining and post-mining areas protection, and geoinformatics in the mining industry.
