As part of promoting excellence in science, we have decided to implement the European Commission guidelines included in the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.

These documents indicate the general principles and requirements defining the roles, responsibilities and rights of researchers and their employers, including the general principles and requirements for the recruitment of researchers.

The MEERI PAS recognizes that the principles and recommendations of the Charter and the Code are crucial to providing scientists with an attractive and friendly work environment in order to maintain the highest quality scientific work. As a result, an action plan was developed, adapting our organization’s HR policy to the European standards set by the EC. In accordance with the recommendations of the European Commission, we plan to conduct regular self-assessments of the implemented solutions and to continuously improve our approach in this area.

Through the implementation of the Charter and the Code, the Institute wishes to support international cooperation and to contribute to the development of an open and attractive market for European science.
