We would like to inform you that the first edition of the yearly “Economy of mineral resources in Poland” has been published, with data covering the years 2011–2020. This yearbook contains basic statistical data in this area, consisting of 93 chapters concerning individual analyzed mineral resources and a chapter presenting individual elements of the mineral resources management in Poland in 2011–2020 in a collective form. The publication was prepared by the authors’ team of the Raw Material Policy Laboratory.

The publication is annual, so the Institute plans to publish it in this form every year.

Professor Zygmunt Kowalski is the laureate of the Medal of Ignacy Mościcki

We are pleased to announce that an employee of our Institute, professor Zygmunt Kowalski, was awarded by the Polish Chemical Society with the Medal of Ignacy Mościcki, the country’s highest distinction in the field of chemistry. Professor Kowalski received this award for outstanding achievements in the field of chemical technology, which are the basis for the industrial implementation of innovative chemical products and processes.
We sincerely congratulate the Professor on this exceptional distinction.
