Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce that the article on model solutions for the implementation of the circular economy in the water and sewage sector entitled “Circular economy model framework in the European water and wastewater sector” published in the Journal of Material Cycles and Waste Management (5-year IF 2.193) was awarded by Springer Nature in category “Water”. The ranking presents the most popular articles and book chapters published in 2020, and reflecting top research that made an impact.
The authors of the article are Dr. Marzena Smol and Dr. Eng. Michał Presiner from the Division of Biogenic Raw Materials at the Mineral and Energy Economy Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences and Dr. Eng. Christian Adam from the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und –prüfung – BAM) in Berlin.
The work was created as part of the project entitled “Monitoring of water and sewage management in the context of implementing the principles of the circular economy” (acronym: MonGOS) financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) under the International Academic Partnership Program.
