Each map was prepared for one of the three selected potential locations of the nuclear power plant.<br \/>\nIn addition, taking into account the economic importance of the potential investment and Polish, EU, and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) legal acts, the analysis of legal problems related to geological surveys for the evaluation of the subsurface conditions at a nuclear power plant site was carried out.<\/p>\n<p>The project was implemented in cooperation with the Polish Geological Institute \u2013 National Research Institute, the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krak\u00f3w, and the Wroc\u0142aw University of Environmental and Life Sciences.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the study, digital maps of the Quaternary bedrock, Cenozoic bedrock, and the thickness of Quaternary formations were created.
