The project addresses the persistent eutrophication of the Baltic Sea, driven largely by excess nutrient runoff from agricultural areas, by consolidating results from Horizon Europe, Interreg and national projects into coherent, policy-ready materials. The work focuses on the market for recycled nutrients, environmental and social benefits and trade-offs, and the integration of nutrient recycling into policy frameworks, including the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). The project will deliver three synthesis papers, a strategy note, a HELCOM policy product, and an international closing event.<\/p>\n<p>The Mineral and Energy Economy Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences (MEERI PAS) leads the work package on synthesis and consolidation of project results and co-leads the work package on strategic communication and stakeholder engagement.
