The Report focuses on technical, economic, and legal analysis, covering the impact of biomass on system stability, energy balancing, and Poland&#8217;s energy security. A multi-variant scenario analysis was conducted as part of the Report, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a baseline scenario (KSE-base) \u2013 reflecting the state of the KSE power system at the end of 2024,<\/li>\n<li>a KSE-0Biomass scenario \u2013 showing the effects of completely phasing out biomass from the KSE,<\/li>\n<li>a biomass share increase scenario (based on the WEM scenario) \u2013 assuming an increase in the share of biomass in line with the KPEiK update,<\/li>\n<li>a biomass share reduction scenario (based on the WAM scenario) \u2013 assuming a reduction in the share of biomass in line with the KPEiK<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Report also considers risk factors related to feedstock quality, biomass availability, regulations, and the economic impact of a change in the energy mix.
